In the historic town of Appleby-in-Westmorland, the Crown & Cushion sits on the main street next to Low Cross and St Lawrences Church. Appleby’s Norman castle is just 500 yards up the hill, while the nearby river Eden is perfect for leisurely walks. Known locally as “The Cushion”, our family-friendly pub features a traditional bar offering a wide selection of lagers, cask and craft ales. Well-behaved four-legged friends are welcome too.
Large screens throughout the pub show live Sky Sports and TNT Sports. Our dining room is open for breakfast, coffee, lunch and dinner, and can be reserved for parties of up to 30 guests.
